Log in for Directv and ATT Interfere With Each Other

I had ATT, no problems. I got Direct TV and each time I log into one of the accounts, I have to reset the password for the other account. It's awful!!! Over and over. I spent 1.5 hours on Thursday, talking with Directv first, and then ATT. Direct TV had me change my email log in to avoid problems. I supplied a new email addy for the Direct TV account. Then the ATT account needed reset, of course. They had me call ATT. I called ATT next. After  a few resets, ATT provided me with a non-email user ID and said I could access both accounts with the same ID and password. I logged into both accounts with the same info. Great!! It worked! 2 days later, I see that my Directv app on my ipad has kicked me out. The log in details will not work. I call Directv and they have me reset my passord....again....ugh.....asking me insulting questions like "are you certain that is the correct password?" The password is Directvsucks2. It's easy. Next reset it's Directvsucks3, next reset is Directvsucks4. Yes, I am sure of the password and I am writing it down to keep track. This problem is still not resolved. Every time I reset the Directv password, I must reset the ATT password. It's not that great of a TV package to have to live with this crap. ATT cannot resolve and neither can Directv. I cannot be the only customer with this problem?
