I currently have 2 lines on AT&T off contract and would like to use the BOGO offer for the Samsung S7 to upgrade both phones. When I read the information, it says that the "free" phone has to be added to a NEW line. The reason I put "free" in quotes is because they only apply a bill credit of $30 per month to cover the cost of the 2nd phone.
Is it possible to take advantage of this offer without adding (and paying for) a new phone line?
If not, can I add a new line to get the phone and then cancel it without having to pay out the remaining balance on the new phone?
