If you are okay with that, yes.  And directly speak with Bryan and let him know you are not okay with his resetting a code designed to keep others from making changes to the account.  He should have called.  You could have authorized the fix over the phone.  

Still, no privacy or security breach.  And the system worked perfectly as you were informed before they even got home.
