My very first post stated one could not log into their account from Europe. No mention of a phone at all. If you were inclined to think my problem was with my phone you assumed too much.

No details and you think I assumed too much..

You could have assumed I could log into my account from home since I stated I couldn't from Europe. But you didn't.

No details and you wanted me to assume.

Basically NO DETAILS. So there wasn't much to come to a conclusion on.

Seriously a sentence that said "I log into my AT&T account all the time from my computer and phone and never had a problem" would have said a lot. Instead we got all sorts of wasted information like "stupid" (x3) and "ridiculous"

You assumed that "If you are out of the country you can not access your account. Period." and then you commented when we pointed out that wasn't true and we had tried it other places.

I assumed, based on my findings, that this wasn't news to this forum. I assumed wrong.

I suppose.

When I have wifi I can do my banking, check my credit cards, manage my gas and electric bills, turn my lights on and off at home, monitor my solar system, iMessage, browse the internet, use email, check the weather where I am, at home, where I'm going, buy train tickets, use maps, update apps, download new apps, use Netflix, Amazon, Craig's list, order an uber, a taxi, social media, video chat, use my GPS, check the news at home, check the NASCAR results, and I guess about everything else. Haven't tried everything I've ever done on my phone but most of what I do I've done.

Since you offered security advice, I'll give my 2 cents.

If you're doing many of these things out at WiFi networks that are not your own, I'd reallyreally suggest that you use a VPN on your devices. You're exposing lots of your data to a lot of unfamiliar networks where data could be getting scooped up. Plus, your connection to ATT.com would probably work fine...
