When I pay my bill on line I get a confirmation on line within the AT&T website as well as an email confirmation. I DON'T want a 3rd confirmation...especially since I never signed up for text messesage confirmations!!!!!! And who are you to assume that getting confirmations on someone's phone does not annoy them? Perhaps they don't want others seeing messages from various companies for various reasons...Or perhaps it's just not something that is useful or needed...And just perhaps you shouldn't comment on peoples' preferences when it comes to their accounts.
