Hi

I’d be happy to help with your name change! The process for this depends on the type of name change being performed. If I understand correctly, you wish to change just the last name? All name changes must be performed by one of our representatives and cannot be changed online or via the myAT&T app. To change just your last name, please send me a Private Message with the following information:

  • Contact number and best time to reach you
  • Cell and/or account number
  • Current Account Holder Name
  • The name you wish to be used

If a full name change is required or a social security number change is also required, please visit your local AT&T store with a Government issued photo ID and we’d be happy to make the change for you.

If you just wish to change the name for the user of one of your lines, this can be completed via myAT&T. See this article for instructions.
