Frustrated and disappointed

I have been trying for 3 weeks to reset my att.net password so that I could pay my bill. Numerous failed attempts. Every time I requested a temporary password it says it was sent to my gmail. I never received one. I called the company and he said it could not be done on a phone or tablet but had to be done on a computer. I don't have a computer. So my account got suspended. I called to see if they could just erase the account so that I may start fresh to pay said bill. No. I have to pay a bill (I have no idea what I'm being charged for) before they can even help me reset my account. I have never received a paper bill, but I received a paper disconnect notice. The gentleman at the store never once said it was going to be a paperless bill. So I now have to pay late fees with a reconnect fee before I can do anything. Thanks for the help att. Sad too. Been a customer for years.
