Online Account - Not being prompted for Passcode

Are passcodes no longer used when accessing your account online? Previously I would always be prompted for my passcode after I entered in my username and password when logging into my account online. Now, I just need my username and password and NO passcode. I tried calling into support and was basicly informed that they no longer require a passcode online and only need it when you call in or stop by a store. 

 

Seems like that would be less secure now as usernames and passwords are being stolen from stores and websites on a more frquent basis. A support rep told me that if I tried to change my password, it would prompt me for my passcode. Nope, changed my password without any passcode needed. 

 

Does anyone know about this change and if my passcode is actually doing anything for my online account?
