Re: Will AT@T attemp to withdrawal a payment a second time if my first payment bounces?

I can totally help you with this request! I can look into this with you and help you get your account squared away!

 

If you had set up AutoPay and your payment was declined, other attempts may be made to process the payment. It depends on the particular reason for the decline. The logic is built into our AutoPay system based on rules for each decline reason.

 

  • We try again two more times in the next few days for generic declines and insufficient funds reasons.
  • We try again once in the next day or so for decline reasons: Re-enter, Other Error, Referral/Call Voice, or Invalid Credit Card Number.
  • For other decline reasons, we un-enroll you from AutoPay on the first decline.

 

These rules are subject to change. If the payment has not been made after a few days we recommend resubmitting the payment manually.
