--- Sure would have been nice for AT&T to have told me this yesterday when I spent an hour on the phone with them to confirm this.
"Because your account is new ATT won't unlock your phone right away, even though you paid full price. I suggest trying in 2 weeks. If denied, call support and put in a ticket."
--- Not what the ATT sales person told me. In fact, I went in to the store with this specific question- should I get the phone directly from Apple so that it would be unlocked right away?
