As I stated I'm venting.
But there are others who have the same issue in Europe that I'm having. There are other threads on this forum describing this same issue. No resolution. One thread describes how AT&T wondered why you would even want to do this!
I should be able to simply click on myAT&T app, check data usage, and if necessary shut off data access to my granddaughter if needed when I have Wifi. Manage my account.
As I did at home but have not been able to do since I've landed in Europe.
All without spending way too much time to figure out how to circumvent this restriction that really exists, even though it's been assumed that I don't even know my own ID.
