All carriers are bad but AT&T is by far the worst. After months of issues with a bundled bill, I was sent to some specialist who took days to unbundle my accounts. Now I have no longevity history and I am locked out of my online billing. I can't even create a new account because it says my active line was terminated, yet they have no trouble billing me for this horrible service.. Every paper bill is wrong and I must call to dispute every month. The problems began back in January but because my history was deleted, I have no evidence of prior calls and complaints (how convenient)! To further complicate matters, I have poor to no service inside of my home due to its construction. I have had a MicroCell booster for two years. Recently I got knocked off the MicroCell, unbeknownst to me because it always shows I am connected with full bars. I finally called tech support last week because I began to drop calls in the house several times a day. He tried to reconnect me to the booster by registering me under the account but said he's locked out and gets error messages. I waited for yet another specialist to come on the line who also said she can get into the account but then gets an error message and needed to escalate it to yet another specialist. So a new specialist from New Jersey called me on Sunday afternoon while I was at a winery listening to music with friends. I ignored it thinking it was a tele-marketer but later saw the voicemail. I called back and referenced the case number. I was told I'd need to wait again for another 24-48 hours for assistance. I have now been waiting for three days to get help from a "specialist" to unlock my account. I can't even get information on my bill which is always wrong. When I contact "customer loyalty", I get the empathetic voice, but no credit to my account, no real answers, only someone to vent my issues. AT&T has a "specialist" for every problem which I now realize is simply a way to defer your problem because absolutely nobody knows what they are doing. I pay thousands of dollars a year for this abuse between my DirecTV and four lines. I don't even want to get into the issues I have had with DirecTV and the "bait and switch" scheme they are running, but feel free to google DirecTV and "bait and switch" to see the pending lawsuits. As soon as I can get my bill, I'm leaving...isn't this convenient for them to tie me up?
