Hi Charles,

What issues are you experiencing? Have you tried updating your Java and Flash plug-ins or a different browser yet?

Thanks,

Dmitriy

GoPhone Account Management - MyAT&T software

The GoPhone account managment (on the web) has switch to new MyAT&T Application software.  Where did all the account management features go that were available under the old software?

When looking at History now I have to pick from Voice, Data, Refills etc.  What happened to the "ALL" option, now I can only look at things individually.

Secondly, when I do pick a category, say Messaging, it shows a date and time and the type of SMS:

SMS Originating
07/30/14 at 12:40:22 PM CDT
$0.00

I can't even see the number here that it went to!  If I want to see the detail I have to click to expand it.  What happened to the detail report that was available under the old software?  You can only have one line expanded at a time on the new report.

So now if I have 500 texts I am trying to see got sent when/where I have to individually click 500 times to view the info I want to see.  Under the old software I just said run the detail report and all the information was right there for me.

Please bring back the old functionality.

Thanks.

The issue I had experienced happened when selecting the ‘Plan 2’ field button under ‘My Plans’. The web page information was then overlaying subject matter toward the bottom of the web page and was still showing ‘Plan 1’ information in the body section of the web page. This issue rendered any ‘usage’ or ‘data’ information from ‘Plan 2’ unreadable and inaccessible. The issue has been resolved now and works normally as of date: 08/03/2014. And ‘Java’, ‘Flash’ and ‘IE9’ are up to date. Thanks for your reply.

Ditto that!  Also, I can't print the results.  Even trying to print the screen shot doesn't work.  I need to print ALL detail daily so I can get reimbursed for business expense using my personal GoPhone.

Please  bring back all the functionality that the previous version had.

Online, phone interface problems

Just so you know, your online and phone interface for gophone is messed up almost to the point of being useless.  I logged in online to add a message package to my daughter's gophone account.  It told me there were no packages that I could purchase, so it was a complete dead end.  I called the phone interface, and got to the option to add a messaging package, but then it told me I didn't have enough $ in the account to add the package I wanted (no option to purchase it separately with a credit card -- boo!), and gave me the option to add $.  So I did that.  Went down that logic tree, and added $25 to the account.  Then selected the option to add messages, and it told me there were no packages I could purchase.  Again, a complete dead end.  So I hung up, called again, went through the original menu to get to add messages, and was able to add the message package I desired.  But this whole process took more than 15 minutes.

Fix your interface!  It worked fine before.  Now you've jazzed it up, and it is practically useless.

I want to express thanks to Sheilla, a att online chat specialist. She spent at least an hour trying to help me with wireless upgrade. She explained clearly all fees and monthly charges. Walked me through the Next program so that I understood what I would be paying. She answered all my crazy questions and was quite funny as well. I really appreciate she took the time to help me (not very tech savvy). Definitely the best customer service I've ever experienced.

Our 3 phones use mobile data when on wifi, even with mobile data turned off. Wifi is set to stay on & back ground data is turned off. No one can tell us why, ATT said even with mobile data turned off it can still use mobile data. I didn't buy it.

GoPhone account management web site

Recently AT&T changed the account management web site for the GoPhone. The new format is a lot easier to read and looks great. However, when I close my browser, the site does not log me out and my password is saved in the password field. Next time I open my browser, I can log in without re-entering my password. Note: I do not have my broswer set to remember passwords on ANY site!

Prior to the redesign, I had to re-enter my password every time I returned to the AT&T site. This is a security concern and it seems like a vulnerability. Anyone else notice this new behavior?

They have also changed the way your login information is saved. Before, you had to re-enter your password every time. Now, if you navigate away from the page or close your browser, your login information stays on the page. When you return to the page, days later, your login ID and password are still there, just click the button and you're logged in. (I do not have browser set to remember passwords, so that is not the problem.) This seems like a security flaw.

I would still try a different browser, if it works (you can try Chrome or FireFox), then there might be a compatibility issue with IE9. You can try a newer version of IE10 or 11 too.

Thanks,

Dmitriy

Hi Thank you for posting.

I can't test this unfortunately because I don't have a Go Phone, but I recommend trying clearing your cache and cookies, and then see if your password is still saved.

What web browser do you use? For example in Firefox you can go to Options - Security - Saved Passwords and remove them from there. I'm sure other browsers have a similar option.

Then try logging in, make sure no prompts pop up asking you to save the password, and if it does, tell it not to save it of course.

Let us know if you're still having issues after that.

Thank you,

Dmitriy

I use Firefox.

I cleared the cache and cookies. There were no saved passwords in Security - Options - Saved Passwords. I logged out of GoPhone account management (https://www.paygonline.com), then closed and reopened Firefox and returned to the GoPhone account management site.  My 10-digit wireless number and password (displayed as four stars, as usual) were still there. I just hit the blue login button and logged in.

This is very odd because it seems to me that clearing the cache and cookies should remove that information from the form. It does not in this case.

The new layout is nicer but without bringing back the old functionality then this is a downgrade.  Why is there no response from ATT?  Are you going to fix this?
