MyAT&T App doesn't work

$

I have a new AT&T account. When trying to access it via the MyAT&T app, it does not load. The waiting icon just spins and spins on wifi and 4GLTE. Tried a soft reset, hard reset and killed the app. Deleted it and downloaded it again. No dice. I can log-in successfully on the website using my userID and password. Would like to get this resolved.

Hello

Have you had a chance to contact customer care yet? It sounds like there is something on your account that's causing this issue. Have you had any changes done to your plan recently?

Thanks,

Dmitriy

My profile has been incorrect for the last few weeks. I go online, change the profile to the correct device, it reverts to a generic flip-phone within a few hours.

I chatted with customer service yesterday, the rep verified my IMEI, and the correct device was displayed. It is a generic flip-phone again. :smileysad:

I have the same issue too - it has happened since last Friday after I upgraded my shared data plan. Contact lots of customer server representatives and they seem having no idea what to do lolz, this has been reported to special developer team - let's see how long it takes AT&T to resolve this...

Have not been able to get into myATT app since signing up over 7 months ago.

I have tried the following:
*Rebooting phone
*Trying on multiple mediums (3 types of tablets and 3 different types of phones)
*Installing and uninstalling multiple times
*Changing both my username and password more than once (under my own volition first then bc att.support told me to.)
* Various combinations of said changes
*trying after an extended period of time (multiple times a day and also after skipping for like a month just to see if any kind of update or something.
*contacted support multiple times all say something like "we'll research and get back to you" and never do.

Nobody seems to be able to figure this out...

Has the Login Process for AT&T Wireless Change

When I get the Screen to enter in my second layer password below is the message I receive. Did AT&T the Login Process and did not inform their Customer?

Note: We've simplified the login process so you'll no longer need to enter your passcode every time to access your account.

Confirm Your Security Passcode

You added a passcode to your account for extra security. If you've forgotten your passcode, select Reset your passcode.

I have (and continue to experience) the same issue.  When I spoke to customer support they said it's an error impacting anyone with more than 10 lines on their account.  I can't believe it's been happening for 10+ days now and no resolution.

They said that they knew about the issue and is working on the fix (the problem is bigger than they though it is), estimated website fix is Dec 4.

Hello Cheekie0538,

Did you have to enter your passcode before? I have a passcode on my account but I haven't had to enter it online for the past two years.

Thanks,

Dmitriy

at&t messender -  I log in using a password on several occasions on my computer. Recently when I went to use on the computer as soon as the url came up... This is what it says:"Confirm Your Wireless Number We sent you a text message with a PIN code to the number (XXX) xxx-xxxx. Please enter it below to continue. Didn't receive the text?" It did not give me an option to log in.

I do not understand why https://messages/att.net will automatically send a pin to my text messages when I did not request... It should allow me to log in as normal or ask for my security pin. If it feels it needs a verification give an option to have that pin sent to email or text.

If I am using a computer/tablet it is because my phone does not have reception in the building that I work in, so how am I suppose to get the pin they sent to my text?

I contacted the on-line chat and they said it is a verification procedure. They sent me a pin to my e-mail but it did not work and said I would have to retrieve the one they sent by text.

Did you try the "Didn't receive the text?" option?

It's possible that this is a new, random double verification routine as an attempt to keep accounts from being hacked. Yes, for you it can be an inconvenience, but the routine probably stops a lot of hack attempts.

There should be other options you can use for alternate double verifications like special special questions, or an alternate (non-AT&T) email address to send codes to, but you would have to set those options up ahead of time, or just take a few minutes to stroll outdoors to get your text message on your phone.

Maybe the building you're working in has wi-fi that you can connect your phone to and get your texts that way.

Hi

This should be a one time verification process (it was for me, then I log in normally), if you're still unable to log in, try clearing your cache and cookies, and try logging in again.

Thanks,

Dmitriy
