I need to get text messages from an account that is no longer active, the text messages were violent threats and prevented my son from going to the hospital when our Grandson was born. We now are involved in a custody dispute where our Grandsons Grandparents have fraudulantly gained guardianship and they were able to do that by saying that the father (Our Son) is "Unkown" we need to gather all text messages to show proof to courts that our son is in fact the biological father to our Grandson. Our son pays weekly child support and that may be enough to prove he is the father, but the Mother of our grandson and her family sent threatening text messages to prevent him from even going to the hospital when his son was born. They have harrassed him numerous times through text and social media, and we need those texts messages immediately. I read online that AT&T keeps old text messages for up to 5 years, so please tell us what we need to do to get a printed copy of them for the court to read. Thank You, Please help our 2 year old is at risk of being placed into state foster care while the courts do the investigation to decide who will get custody, if his Grandparents of our Grandsons Mother does indeed get full custody we will not see him until he is 18, and even that would be a miracle because they fully intend to eliminate us from his life forever.
